I just couldn’t make it today
I tried, I truly did.
I got up, I went outside,
I felt the sun on my skin,
I felt the wind in my hair.
But, I just couldn’t,
I don’t know why?
I headed back inside,
Closed the door
And climbed back under
My blanket of blue.
