James is a queer
he calls everyone dear
but the biggest cheer
is holding Nick by the ears
There's been tears
And many beers,
over the years
to get to here,
I even consulted a seer,
my dear!
who told me not to fear.
But at least I know
who I am now,
and who I want to be,
says James,
as Nick bends to tie his shoe
and James whistles.
