not something mean
I would have been happy with routine.

when I was young,
or my daughter hadn't gone mad,
when she'd just begun.
If my father hadn’t drunk,
If my foot hadn’t been clubbed,
If I hadn't got sick
when I had my life to enjoy.
If I hadn't lost
my little boy.
What it could have been
what I see other people have,
the happy, successful life
what would that have been like?
