It is a great thing

being with people you feel safe

who are not afraid,

like you feel 

in other parts of your life,

those people are so hard to find.

Afraid,

so afraid,

told to be afraid,

be afraid.

"The world is a terrible place we will save you,"

say the politicians,

and big business,

all lies, you know,

they want to save their own positions,

that's all.

You feel afraid

we all feel afraid

society tells us

to be afraid,

in this brave new world,

so afraid,

where technology will save us,

everyone is afraid,

are taught to be afraid,

from a very young age,

because it suits so many people

for us all to be afraid.
